Founded in 2017, Nsibidi Journal of Humanities is a fully peer-reviewed, open access journal that aims to overcome the existing challenges in humanities studies, by creating the requisite forum for intellectual discourses and creativity, as well as the generation and advancement of new knowledge in the humanities and allied disciplines. By appointing reputable scholars as editors and editorial advisers, the journal stimulates academic exchanges that drive scholarship beyond traditional boundaries.
Nsibidi Journal of Humanities publishes high quality, inspiring and rigorously peer-reviewed interdisciplinary and discipline-specific articles in all fields of humanities. Manuscripts are accepted in English. Nsibidi Journal of Humanities occasionally publishes special issues that allow authors to publish articles in other languages such as Igbo and French.
The journal welcomes contributions by scholars from all countries and especially encourages critical exchanges between Nigerian and Non-Nigerian scholars.
